From 2005 to present, Rock N Gold Creations has won several awards for
Simon’s jewelry designs, “Voted Best Designer Jewelry in San Diego” four years in
a row and has been featured on the many San Diego news stations.
Simon Mattar, owner and founder of Rock N Gold Creations (RGC) was taught
craftmanship by his grandfather, Louie Mattar and his father, Joseph Mattar. Both
men were known for their gifted hand craftsmanship and creative talent. On Oct
5th, 1992, Simon established Rock N Gold Creations in San Diego. His vision was
focused in the designer jewelry trade and included the establishment of a true
artisan jewelry manufacturing shoppe.
By 1996, RGC had become well-known for its superior manufacturing quality and
efficiency, and expanded its horizons with a public showroom and a new state-of-
the-art workshop.
